From Gucci's Fall/Winter 2000 collection, a Dress cut with a strapless bandeau neckline and a deep scooped open back. A gathered ruffle sweeps across the top edge and curves down over one side to frame the shoulder, while a slim leather strap crosses the back opening. The body falls in a lightly flared line finished with fine topstitching, the woven Gucci label and size tab set at the centre back. Unmistakably Gucci in its play of sculptural restraint and theatrical volume.
