From Jean Paul Gaultier's Fall/Winter 2001 collection, a Top cut with a tall roll neck and long fitted sleeves in a sheer mesh body. Exposed seams run along the raglan shoulders, the arms and the sides, each edged with a rippled lettuce trim that repeats at the neckline, cuffs and hem. The mesh pulls close through narrow side seams for a second-skin silhouette, with the "Maille Femme" woven label at the upper back. Unmistakably Gaultier in its play on transparency and inside-out construction.
